Privacy Policy

Apsis Audio ("we": Andrei Zhezher, a private individual in Serbia, trading as Apsis Audio) makes Apsis Room Correction and is responsible for the data described here. We collect as little as the Software needs to work, never sell personal data, and use no advertising or analytics trackers, in the Software or on this website.
What the Software sends
- License server (starting the trial, activating, deactivating, the monthly check): an identifier of your computer, which is a one-way hash and cannot be traced back to you; your computer's name, so you can tell your activations apart; your license key; and, as with any internet request, your IP address.
- Update check (once a day when the program starts): a request for a small file with the newest version number. Nothing about you is sent.
Your measurements, profiles, settings and audio stay on your computer. The program writes logs on your computer to help with problems; they leave it only if you send us a report yourself.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive from Paddle your email address, your country and what you bought, to send you your license key and to help you.
Support
If you write to us, we keep your messages and any report you attach for as long as needed to help you, and no longer than two years.
How long we keep data
License records (key, activations, the computer identifiers and names) are kept while the license exists and for as long as the law requires for sales records. Server logs with IP addresses are kept for up to 30 days.
Legal basis and your rights
We process this data to provide the license you bought or the trial you asked for, and for our legitimate interest in preventing misuse of licenses. You may ask us for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, by writing to support@apsisaudio.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority.
Where data is kept
The license server runs in a data centre in the Netherlands (European Union).
Changes
We will update this page if what we collect changes; the date above shows the latest version.
