Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Andrei Zhezher, a private individual in Serbia, trading as Apsis Audio ("we", "us"), about the use of Apsis Room Correction, its plugin and its website (the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you accept them.
1. Purchases
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's own terms for buyers apply to the purchase.
2. Trial
You may use the full Software free of charge for 14 days on each computer. When the trial ends, the correction stops until you activate a license.
3. License
When you buy a license we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Software on the number of computers your license states (2 or 3) at the same time. The license does not expire. You may move it to another computer by deactivating it on one of yours; to prevent misuse, a license can be moved a limited number of times per month.
You may not: share your license key with others; copy, modify, reverse engineer or decompile the Software except where the law allows it; remove or work around the license check; rent, resell or sublicense the Software.
4. Activation and data
Activation and a monthly check connect to our license server. What is sent and kept is described in the privacy policy. We may deactivate a license that has been refunded, charged back or shared in breach of these terms.
5. Updates
Updates of version 1 are free for license holders. The Software may tell you when an update is available; it never installs anything by itself.
6. Your hearing and your equipment
Correction can raise the level of some frequencies. Start with a low volume when you measure or change settings. We are not responsible for damage to hearing or equipment caused by excessive volume.
7. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will meet your needs or run without interruption or errors. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the license. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
9. Third-party material
The Software includes headphone measurements from HPDB by Super Best Audio Friends (CC BY 4.0), head-related responses from the SADIE II database, University of York (Apache License 2.0), and the TweetNaCl library (public domain). Their licenses apply to that material.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Questions: support@apsisaudio.com.
